The top attraction in Yellowstone is the Old Faithful geyser and the other hot pools and geysers in the park. Many of these can be seen in one day, but to really experience all of Yellowstone one must hike into the back country or take on of the exciting and interesting tours offered by various guide services.
Near Yellowstone is the Jackson Hole and Jackson area.
